Wisdom does not belong to a particular nation, ethnic group, or religion. The belief that some exotic ancient cultures carry some knowledge that is pure and elevated is an over-romantic view. It looks desperately for something else on our species than the destructive predatory animals that we are. Put two groups of humans in discordance and see how long the wisdom holds. Put money in the pocket of an exotic culture, and let see how much the wisdom hold. Give power to the oppressed and let them see how long the alleged wisdom they have carried will stand.

Some individuals carry wisdom, but wisdom is a rare quality on the path of extinction. When you find wisdom, stick to it, and try to absorb it until nothing can make you change because you will be tempted to let it go.

If you carry true wisdom, you are going to die poor, powerless, and happy to the extent that no one else will comprehend. They will call you mad.

2021 12 12 - The First Experiment

I took a tip holder from the discarded plastic being destined to recycle in the lab. I thought it was an interesting material and some cool things could be done... this was the first.

2021 12 19 - Black Background

To be honest, the yellow was never the best colour to make purple beads look elegant, so, I paint the plastic black with acrylic paint.

Originally was going to be one block of beads, but once the block was there it calls for balance.

2022 01 01 - The plastic must be cover

In some point I started to think that the beads were too elegant for plastic... yes, is true, I wanted to recycle material, but my need for beauty was bigger, and plastic is not beautiful, it just call to me a visceral reaction when I think on how much garbage means to the planet.

2022 01 12 - Wisdom is done thousand times

In some point I eliminate completely the plastic frame. I thought that the beads would look just beautiful in a slick piece of precious amaranth wood. I worked the wood but I did not count that the little holes will not give space to the threads to move freely, and this introduced tension. The tension was not aesthetically pleasant to me, neither to the story. I have to redo the box again, remove every bead, and re bead everything... I did this four times.
